Mrs. Tinnikka A. Robertson-Jones received her Associates degree in Nursing from Henry Ford Community College, her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy and her Masters of Science in Nursing as well as a teaching Certificate from Eastern Michigan University. She is currently enrolled as a PhD student at Eastern Michigan University per suing her Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Studies (EDST) with a concentration in Nursing. Tinnikka is Board Certified as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has years of experience in the healthcare field with a focus on clinical practice, community health, education and research. Tinnikka gained experience as a Medical Surgical Nurse, Infectious disease and Cardiovascular Intensive care nurse at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, as well as years of clinical experience as an acute care Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse in surgical centers with Solvis Medical Staffing. She served as adjunct faculty with Oakland University in Rochester Michigan before accepting her appointment with Hampton University School of Nursing. Mrs. Robertson-Jones is the Co-chair of the Student Nurses Association and holds the position of Counselor of the Delta Iota Sigma Theta Tau Chapter.
