Mr. Michael D. Druitt earned the M.S. in Biology from Hampton University investigating Effects of Lead Neurotoxicity in Rana Catesbeiana. He previously was awarded a B.S. degree in Biology from Longwood (College) University (Farmville, VA.). Mr. Druitt has served as Visiting Scholar at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and School of Public Health to help educate students about health disparities awareness and to increase student diversity and enrollment in the health professions.
He currently serves as both the Hampton University Pre-Health Program coordinator and the Master of Science in Medical Science Program coordinator and is thus responsible for guiding the career paths of graduates and undergraduate students pursuing the fields of medicine, dentistry, and the health professions. Notably, Mr. Druitt also serves as the Assistant to the Dean of the School of Science.
