Dr. Ava W. Marrow is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology where she teaches courses related to Political Science, Criminal Law, and Cyber Security.  Dr. Marrow earned the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from North Carolina Central University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Howard University School of Law.  In 1994, Dr. Marrow joined the Hampton University faculty and throughout her tenure here, she has held a number of administrative positions.  Dr. Marrow serves on several department, school and university committees. She is also a member of the advisement team for the Gamma Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  Dr. Marrow is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority , Inc. Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society and the NCCU Alumni Association.
